Duties andResponsibilities

  1. ToLead Mechanical design base on project requirement,

  2. Toprepare specification for new machine requirements

  3. Tocome out with complete designs from conceptual idea until detailedmanufacturing drawing.

  4. Toliaise with Electronic and software design team on new Equipment design.

  5. Reviewdesign for compliance with engineering principals, company standards andprocess requirement

  6. Tosource standard/best mechanical component for use. e.g, bearing, linearguide, actuator, Pneumatic, robots etc.

  7. Select/ compare possible vendor and negotiate quotation for unit or partfabrication therefore be familiar with machining technology andequipment’s such as sawing, Die Attach, wire cut and EDM.

  8. Preparefinish design module data collections and reports

  9. Prepareoperation manual and complete documentation after design complete.

  10. Providetraining according prepared schedule to end user for qualify finishmachine

  11. Havegood experience in design and assembly custom automated machine

  12. Prepareproject budgetary quote and timeline and trace project from designapproval till BUY OFF.

  13. To becapable work under pressure and handle multiple projects.


  1. Bachelor Degree or above, major in Automation,Electronic, Mechatronics

  2. Strong English skill both on writing andspeaking.

  3. Effective communication skills.

  4. Strong equipmentknowledge in manufacturing plant, good understanding about Semiconductorassembly and testing operations.

  5. Goodunderstanding in factory automation, provide own ideas and / or design mechanicalmachinery according given specification.

  6. Strong Knowledge in PLC, Labview, Protel, CADand common electronic/electrical components.

  7. Familiarwith basic process control techniques eg. SPC, DOE and FMEA.
