ON Semiconductor Manufacturing Trainer in South Portland, Maine
The Manufacturing Trainer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a quality training plan for the Manufacturing organization on site.
This position requires the individual to be familiar with the various training needs for the site population, particularly those working in our cleanroom environment.
The Trainer will need to work collaboratively with different functional groups on site to develop training and identify training gaps, as well as a diverse population when delivering training.
Develop and implement new onboarding modules
Evaluate training effectiveness, identify opportunities
Coordinate site New Hire Orientations
Deliver training based on basic manufacturing principles, including On-the-Job Training
Participate in fab mini-kaizen as a result of a manufacturing misprocess to determine training actions or improvement to specifications.
Assist in developing and maintaining training metrics to drive performance improvements
Owner of site wide tracking and updating of certifications using the Saba Learning Management System (LMS)
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment thatrequires wearing of a smock, hood, booties, latex or nitrile gloves and safetyglasses
Prior certification in a minimum of three areasin the fab
Flexibility to alter shift schedule in supportof 3 rd shift training
Demonstrated ability to be organized and lead insmall work groups.
Detail oriented. Demonstrated abilityto read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
Demonstrated written and verbal communicationskills are required.
Intermediate computer skills: MS Office,Workstream MES, Email system
Previous training experience preferred
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritizework
High School diploma or equivalent required
Associate's Degree (or higher) preferred
