We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in the field of dc-dc power conversion. The candidate will assist the Applications engineering team in evaluating future and existing power supply regulation products.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) bench evaluation, electrical simulation, writing technical reports and solving technical problems.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a team environment where communication is key, and must be capable of doing high quality autonomous work once a goal is set. A result-driven individual with passion for electronics will find in our team an ideal setting for developing his/her skills.
In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for at least three years completed toward BSEE. Completion of BSEE with ongoing masters work preferred.
No prior professional experience required
Hands-on lab experience, including use of oscilloscope and other lab equipment, and soldering of electronic components
Theoretical understanding of regulators, switch-mode power supplies and control theory
Basic experience in simulating electronic circuits
Background in schematic capture and board layout tools including OrCAD and PADS is a plus
Basic understanding of logic and logic design (digital circuit fundamentals).
Candidate must demonstrate ability to work on a team with a successful project outcome.
Team leader experience preferred.
