ON Semiconductor Program Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

ON Semiconductor is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the HR Information Systems team, located in Phoenix, AZ. As an HRIS Business Analyst Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead and make a difference to On Semiconductor’s global timekeeping and payroll business processes and technology roadmap. This role involves working closely with the business partners on leading industry platforms, including Kronos Timekeeping, ADP Payforce and Oracle Cloud HCM.

In this role you will:

  • Elicit user requirements for application development

  • Design and code medium- to high-complexity reports and programsbased on PL/ SQL

  • Initiates ideas for new solutions that would bring benefit tocorporation.

  • Participate in code and design reviews with team members.

  • Create programs based on PL/SQL, Java based on the businessrequirements

  • Identify and escalate issues that put work at risk of delay andpropose suitable alternatives

  • Follow standards for system development and maintenance.

  • Partners with Technical Analyst to understand business andtechnical requirements and translates them into solutions.

  • Performs functional and unit testing.

  • Prepares and obtains approval of system and programmingdocumentation.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management InformationSystems/Business information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Technical skills

  • Experience in SQL and relational databases is a must

  • UI/UX expertise for web based application is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases

  • Demonstrated skill in designing and developing complex programsbased on PL/SQL and Java

  • Strong knowledge of data models and data mining techniques,database design and writing stored procedures

  • Experience in software development life cycles namely Waterfall,Spiral and Agile is plus
