Description

ON Semiconductor is looking for a Product Engineer to manage production of USB re-drivers and Clock products after transfer from Design to High Volume Production at test houses around the world. He/She will work closely with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems, Sustains products with cost reduction and yield improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production Yield, Solve Low Yield Issues and Provide disposition

  • Support QA with RMA handling and Failure analysis

  • Provide feedback on relevant issues to the Design and test development team

  • Perform product debug on ATE

  • Responsible for the product during the product life cycle

Bachelor's degree in Electronics with around 2 years of experience.

Skills& Knowledge:

  • Required

  • Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with team members from various domestic and international sites

  • ATE experience

  • Statistical data analysis with tools such as Excel or JMP or equivalent

  • Programming in high level languages such as C, C and/or Visual Basic

  • Able to manage priorities of multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment

  • Able to utilize engineering test hardware (for example, oscilloscopes) for FA and Low Yield analysis

  • Beneficial

  • ATE experience on TMT ASL 1000, Maverick PT, Teradyne uFlex platform

  • Background in Test and Measurement of semiconductors

  • Direct experience with USB Redrivers, Clock products

  • Knowledge of Perl or Python scripting languages

  • Production process management

  • Experience supporting production products including yield enhancement, failure analysis

  • Knowledge of semiconductor packaging materials and methods and their effects on part behavior
