ON Semiconductor Principal Business Marketing Analyst in Hong Kong, United States

  • Pricing management (Defining pricing strategies)

  • Driving contract negotiation & compliance

  • Demand forecasting and inventory management

  • Developing key expertise and driving activities in all areas of the marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)

  • Developing relevant customer relationships

  • Serving as the primary product line interface to all other functions with strong interface with the following depts.: sales, demand planning; price management & customer marketing organization, external customers (end-customers, reps, distributors) and internal customers (sales, marketing communications, other product organizations)

  • Definition and creation of business processes to increase revenue and expand market presence

  • Development and execution of product marketing plans

  • Working with sales team to identify business opportunities

  • Create product positioning strategies, communicate then with sales team and channel partners

  • Creation and maintenance of metrics to track objectives, provide forecasting information and measure success.

  • Technical Degree would be a plus but can be substituted with relevant experience

  • MBA is an added advantage

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years’ experience in semiconductor, with power product experience

  • Proven success creating and implementing unique and innovative marketing program that results in sales growth above market conditions

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing pricing strategies across several geographies

  • Ability to make decision independently and/or as part of team, excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skills, strategic vision planning and the ability to translate this into an actionable plan

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Ability to document ideas in plans, including forecasting, competitive positioning and financial return on investment analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential including presenting to management

  • Comfortable setting up meetings with and presenting to ON executives, channel executives and customers

  • Organizational skills – ability to meet deadlines, ability to achieve and maintain expected productivity levels

  • Enthusiasm – motivated to contribute and do what it takes to get thing done

  • Problem solving/ analytical skills; must be able to take raw data and develop usable analysis

  • Team work – the ability to work both with teams, and across multiple teams of members without reporting responsibility to the position

  • Personal Maturity – understands own strengths and weaknesses, has professional standards with regard to attendance, personal accountability and integrity

  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to increase market share and revenue

  • Strong portfolio management skills
