ON Semiconductor Device Technician (B Shift - Modified) in Gresham, Oregon
Device Technician responsibilities are focused on timely movement of wafer lots through final parametric probe (PC-Test, E-Test) and die probe (Monitor Probe, Unit Probe) steps, and providing first-level troubleshooting. This position provides the opportunity to help support solving complex process and electrical issues, while helping to meet weekly shipments and quality requirements for production material.
Support is expected for all Gresham technologies, and includes (but is not limited to):
Examination of daily hold list, and OTD (on-time-delivery) lot list. Timely disposition.
Analysis and documentation of any PC-Test signals and Probe yield signals of concern. Attaching documentation to lots in ToolSuite: Datapower probability plots, SLEUTH signals, commonality, etc.
Understand PC-Test Acceptable Quality Level methodology, and its associated re-test and disposition criteria.
Maintenance/updates of Device Engineering specifications
Logistical support for Device Engineers, including lot splits, archives, shipping, visual inspections, scrap re-assignment, etc.
Writing instructions for engineering experiments and help in generating summary reports
Requires AS/AA degree
0-2 years' of related semiconductor industry experience
Able to work B Shift - Modified (every Sun, Mon, Tues e/o Sat - 1:00 PM - 1AM).
Ability to work in a collaborative fashion, in a high-paced production environment
Good problem solving and documentation skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Knowledge of basic statistics (i.e. Mean, Standard Deviation)
Knowledge of Gresham Technologies
Knowledge of testers, test programs
JMP statistical analysis software
Calibre layout software
Basic Device Physics knowledge
