ON Semiconductor Analog/Mixed Signal Test Development Engineer in East Greenwich, Rhode Island

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Analog/Mixed Signal Test Engineer for development of new advanced automotive protected SmartFET product families, located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. This site consists of a Design Center of 90 employees.

Performance Objectives:

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop new test solutions primarily on Eagle or similar test systems for thesenew products. The test solutions consist of development of hardware test boardsfor both wafer probe and final test and creation of a software program solutionto interface the test hardware to the production test system. Typicalproduction test systems utilize C or similar programming code to interfacewith the hardware test solution. Frequent interaction with design, applicationsand production engineering is required in order to develop a robust testsolution that satisfies all of the necessary requirements.

  • Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Experience in C , object oriented programming desired,writing scripts/utilities in Perl, Java, Python helpful

  • Experience creating schematics using OrCAD Capture, PADSLogic, Expedition, DxDesigner

  • Layout experience using PADS Layout, Allegro PCBDesigner preferred

  • Test solution hardware/software development on ATE(Automated Test Equipment: Teradyne, Eagle, Advantest T2000) preferred.

  • Electronics troubleshooting or integratedcircuit/microelectronics testing experience of analog, mixed-signal, powerdevices or digital integrated circuits preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products andstatistical evaluation software (JMP, Excel, etc.) is required.
