ON Semiconductor Capacity Planner in Shenzhen, China
•The GSCO Back-End Capacity Planner using APS systems provides a capacity plan that meets the product demand within stated capacities, as well as analyzes any demand & supply gap and works with BU Planning, Manufacturing, External Manufacturing team and Product Engineer as needed and mitigate the supply shortage by means of capacity swap, site transfer and line expansion.
•Communicate with the factories, ON Semiconductor GSCO, manufacturing & engineering on all capacity issues .
•Working closely with assembly and test manufacturing in the creation of the long term forecast view when requested .
•Managing the on-site OTD operational metric changes. This management is not an ownership of the data but knowing the key players as they are identified and making sure there is a continual push to work toward the new way of measuring their performance.
•Driving any immediate concerns raised from the executive teams in Phoenix in making sure they receive the appropriate visibility and reaction.
BS/BA Supply Chain Management (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
Good process development and analysis skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Good understanding of rough cut capacity procedures and internal planning tools
Ability to interface with management, engineering, planning and factory representatives, both internal and external, on all issues relating to capacity and the production plan
Adept in all related computer software applications
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to adapt within an ever-changing environment
