Systems Architect –ON Semiconductor – Santa Clara, CA

Job Summary:

Our ON Semiconductor site located in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the Image Sensor team.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the customer needs into a system level solutionrequirements and into detailed sub-system requirements

  • Possess a thorough knowledge of system level modeling,mixed-signal circuit design and packaging.

  • Defining manufacturable solutions, both in terms of productreliability and testability (DFT).

  • Mentor the characterization, product- and test-engineeringteams to ensure a quick and timely product bring up once silicon comes backfrom fab.

  • Clearly and consistentlycommunicate and document to customers and internal organization the status andresults of the designs throughout the different phases of the design cycle.

  • Will be dealing with customers directly, communicatingdecisions, and negotiating trade-offs.

  • Will work with complicatedmixed-signal solutions with significant analog content

Requirements:

  • MSEE with 8 years analog design experience or PhD with5 years of similar experience

  • Analog circuit design exposure/knowledge. Includes understandingof integrated circuit design with an emphasis in Analog power circuits such as;voltage references, ADC’s, current references, and high performance amplifiers.

  • Some experience withbehavioral top level modeling and mixed signal verification methodology.

  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Matlab

  • Knowledge of image sensorsis a plus

  • Have experience with CMOS image sensors (preferable but notrequired)

  • Due to work on government programs the applicant must be a UScitizen
