ON Semiconductor Corporation is looking for an experienced Power Module manufacturing innovator to achieve and sustain leadership position in growing segment of automotive HEV/EV and industrial power modules. The highly visible position is responsible for coordinating and leading all activities in power module manufacturing enabling zero-defect, high-volume and best-n-class cost structure.

Job Description

  • Responsible of all power module manufacturing including PIMs, IPMs with primary focus on automotive HEV/EV and industrial power modules

  • Key focus on high reliability and high-volume manufacturability

  • Best-n-class cost structure to ensure competitiveness and profitability

  • Collaborate with supply chain organization for supplier development & qualification enabling technology and cost

  • Work with FE/BE technology development organizations to coordinate improvements in silicone and packaging technologies to achieve target goals

Job Title:

• Director or Senior Director

• Reports to: VP of High Power Division

• Location: Munich, Germany. Starting with a 2-3-yr Expat Assignment in Asia ( China/Malaysia)

  • BSEE, 15 years of experience in power module development & manufacturing. MSEE or PhD is preferred.

  • 10 years of experience with a top semiconductor module manufacturer.

  • In-depth knowledge of IGBTs/MOSFETs and WBG technologies and their use in power modules

  • Experience working with Tier 1 customers, Sales, FAE, Business Units, Technology Development, Technical marketing & packaging development in a matrix organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
